Welche Vorteile bietet ein Teflon-Sensor gegenüber Messing?​​

Teflon (PTFE) ist hochbeständig gegen aggressive Chemikalien – Säuren, Laugen, organische Lösungsmittel – die Messing angreifen würden. F4 Teflon ist daher ideal für die chemische Industrie, Labortechnik und Lebensmittelverarbeitung. Zusätzlich: längere Lebensdauer durch höhere Verschleißfestigkeit.

Warum ist die Medientemperatur auf -20 bis +90°C begrenzt?

Dies ist eine konstruktive Begrenzung des Teflon-Materials in Kombination mit dem kalorimetrischen Messprinzip. Ab +90°C sinkt die Wärmeabfuhr (Sensor funktioniert nach Kühlprinzip) und die Genauigkeit leidet. Für höhere Temperaturen bis +120°C empfehlen wir die Standard-F3 aus vernickeltem Messing bzw. Edelstahl

Unterscheiden sich die Prozessanschlüsse je Eintauchtiefe?

Ja, kritisch! F4/60 hat 10 mm Sensorrohr, während F4/115 und F4/145 ein 12 mm Sensorrohr nutzen. Dies muss bei der Montage beachtet werden. Adaptionen sind nicht vorgesehen – wählen Sie die korrekte Länge für Ihre Rohrgröße.

Welche Auswerteeinheiten sind kompatibel?

Der F4 funktioniert mit universellen Auswerteeinheiten: NLSW®45-3 (Standard mit Relais), und NLSW®75-A (Transmitter).

Ist F4 Ex und SIL-zertifizierbar?

Der ist ein Universal-Sensor für Standard-Strömungsüberwachung ohne Sicherheitsanforderungen. Für Ex und SIL1/SIL2 Anwendungen nutzen Sie die F3 SIL1 oder F3 SIL2, sowie die EX Versionen. Diese Versionen gibt es auf Anfrage auch in Teflon-Ausführungen.
