Der FT401 eignet sich ideal für Strömungsüberwachung in Wasseraufbereitungsanlagen, landwirtschaftlichen Bewässerungssystemen, Biogasanlagen und industriellen Kühl-/Heizkreisläufen. Besonders effektiv bei kontinuierlicher Schwellwertüberwachung und Leckageerkennung in neutralen bis schwach aggressiven Flüssigkeiten.

Welche Mindestströmungsgeschwindigkeit benötigt der FT401 für stabile Messung?

Der Sensor liefert ab 0,3 m/s ein messbares Signal. Für höchste Genauigkeit (±3%) wird eine Strömungsgeschwindigkeit zwischen 1-6 m/s empfohlen. Bei niedrigeren Geschwindigkeiten (0,3-1 m/s) steigt die Messabweichung auf ±5%.

Benötige ich spezielle Einlaufstrecken vor dem Sensor?

Ja, für optimale Messgenauigkeit sollten mindestens 10 Rohrdurchmesser gerader Rohrlauf vor und 5 Rohrdurchmesser nach dem Sensor eingehalten werden. Bei Störstellen wie Bögen oder Armaturen können längere Beruhigungsstrecken bis 50×d erforderlich sein.

Wie erfolgt die Programmierung des Schaltausgangs?

Das Gerät verfügt über eine Button-Konfiguration zur Umschaltung zwischen Puls- und FlowSwitch-Modus. Die Schwellwerte sind frei einstellbar. Der 4-20mA-Ausgang ist werksseitig auf 0,3-6,0 m/s kalibriert und kann über Teach-In-Verfahren angepasst werden.

Welche Wartung benötigt der FT401?

Der wartungsarme Hall-Sensor arbeitet berührungslos ohne mechanischen Verschleiß. Empfohlen wird regelmäßige Sichtprüfung auf Ablagerungen am Flügelrad und jährliche Funktionskontrolle der Ausgangssignale. Bei starker Verschmutzung kann das Flügelrad demontiert und gereinigt werden.

Ist der FT401 für aggressive Medien geeignet?

Ja, die medienberührenden Teile bestehen aus chemisch hochbeständigem PVDF (Flügelradaufhängung), PEEK (Flügelrad) und Edelstahl 1.4115 (Pins). Die EPDM/NBR-Dichtungen sind für die meisten industriellen Flüssigkeiten bis 100°C geeignet.

Welche Adapter sind für verschiedene Rohranschlüsse verfügbar?
