Was ist das Besondere am NLSW45-3 Ex SIL2?

Der NLSW45-3 Ex SIL2 ist der sicherheitszertifizierte Luftströmungswächter für ATEX-Zone 1 und 2 mit SIL2 nach IEC 61508. Er misst Lüftungs- oder Prozess-Luftströmungen redundant mit zwei Fühlern, besitzt vier Zenerbarrieren zur sicheren Trennung und bietet hohe Anlagenverfügbarkeit für kritische Industrieumgebungen.

In welche Anwendungen passt das Gerät?

Typische Einsatzfelder sind Absaug- und Lüftungssteuerungen, Ventilatoren, DDC-Systeme, Heizregisterüberwachung, Prozessanlagen in Chemie, Umwelt und Kraftwerken – überall, wo höchste Betriebssicherheit und Explosionsschutz gefordert sind.

Welche Vorteile bietet der doppelt vorhandene Relaisausgang?

Durch die doppelte Ausführung kann jeder Luftstromkanal getrennt überwacht und geschaltet werden, z. B. für getrennte Alarmsignale oder zweistufige Redundanz bei Sicherheitsketten, was die Betriebs- und Ausfallsicherheit signifikant steigert.

Wie erfolgt die sichere Installation?

Die Montage muss durch befähigtes Personal (TRBS 1203) erfolgen. Wichtig: BZE804 und BZE805 Zenerbarrieren dürfen nicht vertauscht werden, alle elektrischen Installation nach VDE und Explosionsschutznormen. Nur original Zubehör verwenden, Kabelverlängerung ist bis 30 m möglich – Installation der Geräte ausschließlich in nicht-explosiver Atmosphäre.

Wie gestaltet sich die Wartung im Ex-Bereich?

Der Betreiber hat monatlich Sichtprüfungen und jährliche Detailprüfungen nach IEC 60079-17 vorzunehmen. Reinigung der Sensoren erfolgt ausschließlich mit lauwarmer Seifenlauge und im spannungsfreien/ex-freien Zustand, niemals mit harten Werkzeugen.

Welche Sensorvarianten gibt es?

Die Fühler sind in verschiedenen Längen (50, 130, 165, 300, 400, 500 mm) als MS58 oder optional aus Edelstahl und Teflon erhältlich, Schutzart IP67.

Was ist bei einem Sensorausfall oder -bruch?

Bei Sensorausfall (Kurzschluss/Bruch) fällt das Relais ab, das Gerät signalisiert die Störung unmittelbar – dies unterstützt den Aufbau sicherheitsgerichteter Abschalt- und Alarmfunktionen.
